To inspire budding photographers entering this year's City of Contrasts competition, the Cathedral will host pairs of photographs by Tom Wood.
The display concentrates on his Merseyside work in the late 1970s and 80s, the photographs form an exploration of the city, the surrounding areas and their inhabitants.
The photographs come from the Walker Art Gallery’s exhibition Every Man and Woman is a Star: Photographs by Martin Parr and Tom Wood (20 April -18 August), part of the LOOK 13: Liverpool International Photography Festival.
