Loved Ones Album Launch

Loved Ones

The Scandinavian Church in Liverpool City Centre was the perfect venue for a bring your own booze album launch for our Scouse favourites, Loved Ones

The audience was welcomed by the beautiful voice and music of Nadine Carina. Rich in melodies, folky tones and vintage beats. ‘Where I Love’ is available to buy now.

The Laze were the second layer of the nights musical sandwich. A sandwich filling of goats cheese, pickles, ham, beetroot and jalapeƱos. Your mouth is on fire and you keep on eating. It’s delicious and relentless. 7 members strong, multi-instruments, an unceasing storm of sound. The saxophonist has hands that move faster than light.

Loved Ones treated us to the songs ‘Weekends Are Ours’ and ‘Are you hiding out in Hell?’ with foot tapping melodies and beautiful lyrics. The guy’s music is every bit as good as their beard growing abilities.

The Loved Ones’ debut album 'The Merry Monarch' is to be released this summer on Baltic Sub Records. This album of sublime folktronica is to be accompanied by activities such as rustling up a mean pasta, drinking red wine, sunny Sunday afternoons and romantic daydreams.
