Krunk party "la Tomatina" in Kazimier




The annual event returns to the Kazimier and Garden, the KRUNK PARTY. This year will be the festival of the "Tomatina" the basis of the event, a celebration of ancient tradition in Spain where tons and tons of tomatoes are thrown at the participants.

The Tomatina festival in Liverpool will feature an extravaganza of music, with a big selection of DJs such as Mr Paul, Dj Mime, Rich Furness or Ellis and Jay. There will be live performances from groups like Renegade Brass Band, Bobby Conn, Melt Yourself Down, Dogshow, Lunar Modular, Calender Lads, White Blackula, Edgar Jones, We Are Animal, Harlequin Dynamite, Marching Band, Other Earth, Swinging Bricks, Alphamale Tea Party, Aigburth Cricket Club's, Merseysippi jazz band, The Otherness and Sheepy.
Very complete poster which opens from 3pm today Saturday June 22. Advance tickets are sold out, so you have to get your hands on one at the entrance.

At 8pm TOMALOCO game will take place, for which participants will brave the fight in a war of tomatoes to get the "Golden Ham".

Event organizers describe it as "A day to cleanse your sins, extol the immoral, and make a sacrifice to the higher orders". You have 12 hours to do this with 25 groups spread across 3 stages. Last year they had a big succes and you can see the photos here.
